How do we increase weight on rope climbs and burpees?
If you were to design a t-shirt for CFG what would you put on it?
Also the movement you are adding weight to is a power clean.
Soooooo…the 6:30 class was pretty empty today….what do you all have to say for yourselves? Brad planned a special core WOD that included high plank thrusters….yup I didn’t know what that meant either until I saw bodies flailing up and down accompanied with sound effects. Maybe Leann was doing her own high plank thrusters at home for her birthday If that’s the case, you are excused. The rest of you are not.
…because we’re all in 5th grade (teehee)

Great WOD today. Time was 20 something minutes. Took me a few attempts to get the last power clean @ 10# less than my 1RM.
Power cleans (135,155,185,185,185)
Rope climbs (2,2,1,1,fail)
That was a doozie.
CFG T shirt would be something iconic like a Bentley, an AK-47, Palm trees and a barbell.
12:30 today. love me some plank thrusters LOL
CFG tshirt…no clue. something fun and different that people would be like “damn, that shirt is so bad ass i want to join CFG and get one too”
16:04 w rope climbs and a max out at 155 on power cleans. This week’s WODs were the shit btw. Props to the programmer

Great WOD to start my three week vacation!! I will miss my 5:30 am crew, but rest assured I already purchased my visitor membership at JSACF in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ . I know it’ll not be the same, but at least I will be WODing with you all in spirit!

And then the last 2 freaking reps in the final round went: 225 fail, 225 fail, 225 fail, 225 fail, 215 Success!, 215 fail, 215 fail, 205 success.
Anyone burnt after this one?
Easy !y short would read I love bj’s and on the back have a person doing box jumps saying underneath get your mind out of the gutter !
But after today’s wod idk I’m likin those thrusters

I’m ashamed to say that I didn’t post yesterday so I feel the need to respond to the qod today. Maybe it’s karma…cuz I would say today goes down as one of my worst wods. Just gave up on myself unfortunately. Those rope climbs were a killer!

Really liked this wod. My back is still suffering from this week and today was the cherry on top. 21:30 getting to 80lbs which is my 1 rep max. Not my best wod but I enjoyed it.
Stacey: Don’t get too hard on yourself for having an off day. You are a great CrossFitter/ athlete! You don’t give yourself enough credit… You work longer and harder than most and should be very proud of how far you’ve come.
