This WoD is in honor of Hiroshi Hoketsu of Japan who has used his whole life to master his craft of equestrian, and has now qualified for the Olympics at age 70. He is the oldest qualified athlete for these Olympics and is the second oldest all time behind Swedish shooter Oscar Swahn (72, 1920 Games).

What has been the hardest wod you’ve done since you’ve started Crossfit?
Well, although that is a great ?, I can get over one wod at a time. I would have to say doing Fran, Angie, badger and grace in one week back in April was a tough week. can I get an amen?
Two votes. Both nearly killed me:
1. The scaled down FGB in the very first class at 101.
2. The first time I did Badger.
BTW, is that our box, Gables, in the picture???? I don’t think we’ve been in the picture since 2011.
that pic is WAY old (notice there’s no pull-up system.
Is that Jackie giving someone a high five? lol
Don’t recall the name, but it was the one involving bear complexes.
Bandger! Badger! Badger! No one WOD is more physical or mental.
Badger for sure
22:57 RTG (unbroken dubs, 2 pood, floor HSPU 18 total).
1st: welcome back to the Mazzarella’s.
QOD: My 1st Murph (over and hour), the “21 Heroes” WOD, and Badger
16:28. 52 HSPU using two abmats.
QOD: Pretty much every WOD for the first 9 months of Crossfit. Starting with Baseline on my first day which is the only WOD I’ve ever thrown up after. That’s what sitting on your butt for 5 years and being 40 pounds overweight does to a person.
14:46 RX. only did 2 rounds of unbroken dubs.
angie is tough and so is filthy 50. cant really remember exactly which WOD was the worst. but those two def stick out in my head. ive never done century thrusters but im sure that that one sucks a lot.
17:56 today. on the qod, have to go with the baseline and badger.
You haven’t experienced hell until you’ve done Century Thrusters.
YES! Century Thrusters! Good call. That was f’in horrible.
The “modified” The Seven we did for Ish’s bachelor wod was pretty terrible too.
Badger and Bear Complex! Thise WODs kicked my ass
Badger
The wod Brad made for my Gold Medal Wod….that was hard! Hot and long!
hard hot and long…?
LMAO!!!!
Badger and the 4th of July Wod.
17:18 more than 1/2 du,35lbs and hspu. Hot as a mo’fo at noon.
Barbara!!
24:59…wtf. This is the first WOD the class was long gone and I was still going…and it wasn’t because i was doing max HSPU for days either.
The 4th of July WOD was pretty awful..
16:00 singles and alternated between the 55 lbs and 35 lbs KB
Fran is tough… but Badger is worse!!!
Badger! Hands down!!! I would even say both times.
14:25 today – singles, hspus with 3 ab mats and 35 lb kb. Love that whenever we do dead lifts, we do kb swings the next day. Just to really irritate my lower back. Really liked this wod though.
18:11
i feel this week has been a great week for me. after just a couple months i got my kipping pull ups, handstand walks and DUBS. i feel great!
i think annas gold medal wod was rough! not to mention barbara…. ehh…
A big fat DNF today. Got through 2 rds before my back had enough.
My first Badger and my first Murph, equally brutal.
Don’t feel bad. I did 3.
14:41 Rx w 40 HSPU total
Badger is definitely the most difficult WOD that I have done so far. It took everything in me to not quit the second time I did it
I’ll agree badger was terrible…but pretty much every wod my first month of crossfit was awful
Murph definaly
20:xx RX. My dubs were tragic.
Handstand Push up in the rings! Yeah buddy
